SpinBit NZ: who runs it, how it pays

Before the bonuses, the questions that actually matter — which company holds the licence, which cards will work from a New Zealand account, how quickly money moves, what verification asks of you, and who you escalate to when a payout stalls.

18+ only. Gambling can be addictive — please play responsibly.

The Company Behind It

Who actually operates SpinBit

Online casinos are frequently run by a company with a different name to the brand on the door. SpinBit is no exception, and its terms name the operator explicitly.

SpinBit is owned and operated by Oceanus Mysteria S.R.L., incorporated and registered in Costa Rica under company number 3-102-933364, with a registered office in Cartago. Its AML policy states that Spinbit.com is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission, and its terms are governed by the laws of Tobique, with disputes subject to that jurisdiction.

One detail we are deliberately leaving blank: the licence number. SpinBit names its regulator but does not publish a licence number anywhere in its New Zealand terms, AML policy or footer. A number circulates in connection with the same operating company, but we have not been able to verify it applies to SpinBit specifically — so rather than reprint something unconfirmed, we have left the field empty and asked the operator to supply it.

What this means in practice

  • New Zealand players are accepted — New Zealand is absent from SpinBit's restricted-countries list.
  • You can deposit and play real-money games with no NZ-specific account limitation.
  • The minimum age is 18.
  • Self-exclusion applies across every brand under the same licensee, not only SpinBit.

What it is not

  • Not licensed in New Zealand. The licence is Tobique, and the Department of Internal Affairs does not regulate it.
  • Not covered by New Zealand consumer gambling protections — your recourse runs through the operator's own complaints process and its nominated dispute body.
  • Not a guarantee of anything. A licence is a starting point for trust, not the end of it.
Money In, Money Out

NZD is processed — and one card scheme is not

The headline is good: New Zealand dollars are named outright as a processed currency, processing is instant, and every listed method bar one is fee-free in both directions. The catch is in which card you reach for.

Visa — supported

Clause 12.3.1 names the countries where Visa is not supported: the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore. New Zealand does not appear, so Visa remains an available route from an NZ account.

Mastercard — not supported

Clause 12.3.2 works the opposite way. It names the only countries where Mastercard is supported — Europe plus Turkey — and New Zealand is not among them. Read as written, Mastercard is not an available route from New Zealand. Check what the cashier actually offers your account before you rely on a card.

Accepted currencies: EUR, USD, NZD and CAD, with a minimum deposit of €10 or the equivalent. Withdrawals are capped at $50,000 per month unless a promotion specifies otherwise, and a larger win is paid out in monthly instalments up to that ceiling; exceptions may be granted at the casino's discretion. Where a single withdrawal exceeds a method's per-transaction limit, it is split. Deposits above €50,000 in a single day trigger source-of-funds and source-of-wealth checks.

The payments table on the live site shows card and wallet logos without naming them, so we have described method types rather than brands. The Visa and Mastercard positions above come from the terms, not the cashier.

KYC

What verification will ask for

SpinBit verifies on a risk-based framework rather than at a fixed deposit figure, so there is no threshold you can stay under. Getting documents in early is the single most effective way to avoid a delayed first withdrawal.

Identity

A valid passport, national ID card or driving licence. Images must be in colour, in focus, and show all four corners of the document.

Address

A recent proof of address — a bank statement or similar document showing your current address.

Timing is risk-based

Checks happen in line with regulatory requirements and the operator's internal risk framework, and may be requested earlier where the rules demand it. There is no published deposit figure that triggers them.

Where it goes

Upload through My Account > Verification. Trusted third-party providers may assist with the checks. Account, transaction and due-diligence records are retained for as long as needed, and longer where the law requires it.

Questions about verification go to the support team, available 24/7 via live chat or [email protected]. The full AML and KYC policy is published as a downloadable PDF on the casino's policy page.

If Something Goes Wrong

The escalation path, and its three-day clock

SpinBit runs an internal complaints process first and an independent dispute body second. The deadline on the first step is unusually short, so it is worth knowing before you need it.

Step one — the operator

The three-day deadline

  • Disputes must be submitted within three days of the date the relevant bet was settled.
  • SpinBit's terms state no claims will be honoured after that period.
  • If you think a bet has been settled wrongly, raise it immediately — not after the weekend.

If the internal process does not resolve matters to your satisfaction, the complaint can be referred free of charge to the nominated alternative dispute resolution provider, EGIS - FZCO. The operator requires you to try its internal procedure first.

Staying In Control

Limits you set, and how fast they move

All five tools live in your account profile. The asymmetry is deliberate and worth understanding: making a limit stricter happens immediately, making it looser does not.

ToolPeriodsTighteningLoosening
Deposit limitDay / week / monthAs soon as practicableAfter a cooling-off period
Loss limitDay / week / monthImmediateAfter a cooling-off period
Wager limitDay / week / monthImmediateAfter a cooling-off period
Time-out1 day / 1 week / 1 month / 3 monthsImmediateEnds at expiry
Self-exclusion3 / 6 months, 1 / 5 years, permanentOn processingNot reversible on demand

Loss limits are net of nothing — winnings in the period do not reduce the total, and unsettled bets count toward it. Wager limits are gross turnover, not net. During a time-out or self-exclusion you cannot deposit or receive promotional offers, but you can still withdraw a remaining balance. Self-exclusion applies across every brand operated under the same licence. Where the operator observes signs of harm it may impose limits, make contact, suspend an account or exclude a player on its own initiative.

Help in New Zealand

SpinBit's own responsible-gambling page points to international organisations only. If you are in New Zealand and gambling has stopped being fun, these are the local services:

  • Choice Not Chancechoicenotchance.org.nz, information and support for players and families.
  • Gamblers Anonymousmeeting finder, the one external service the casino itself links to.
Common Questions

New Zealand players ask

Is SpinBit legal for New Zealanders to use?

SpinBit accepts New Zealand players — New Zealand is absent from its restricted-countries list, so you can register, deposit and play real-money games. It operates on a Tobique Gaming Commission licence rather than a New Zealand one, so it sits outside the New Zealand regulatory perimeter. Your protections are the operator's own terms plus its nominated dispute body, rather than a New Zealand regulator.

What is the licence number?

SpinBit does not publish one. Its AML policy names the Tobique Gaming Commission as the licensing body and its terms are governed by Tobique law, but no licence number appears anywhere in its New Zealand-facing pages. We have asked the operator to supply it rather than reprint an unverified number.

Can I use a Mastercard?

Most likely not. The terms list the countries where Mastercard is supported — a European list plus Turkey — and New Zealand is not on it. Visa is the opposite case: the clause restricting Visa names nine countries and New Zealand is not among them. Check the cashier for what your account is actually offered before depositing.

Can I play in New Zealand dollars?

The payments page states that SpinBit accepts and processes EUR, USD, NZD and CAD, and the bank-transfer withdrawal limits are quoted in NZD. Confirm the currency your account is opened in at registration, since it determines how limits and bonus caps convert.

How much can I withdraw?

Up to $50,000 per month unless a promotion specifies otherwise, with exceptions possible at the casino's discretion. A larger win is paid in monthly instalments. Per-transaction maximums vary by method, generally €10,000 for cards, e-wallets and standard bank transfer.

Will I have to verify my identity?

Yes. Verification follows a risk-based framework rather than a fixed monetary trigger, so it can be requested at any point. Expect to supply photo ID and a recent proof of address, uploaded through My Account > Verification.

What happens if my withdrawal is delayed?

Contact live chat or [email protected] first, then [email protected] for a formal complaint. If it remains unresolved, escalate free of charge to EGIS - FZCO. Note the three-day window that applies to disputes about a settled bet.

Seen enough?

NZD processing, instant fee-free banking and an eight-level cashback ladder on the other side of registration.
